Combined countdown of the best (my personal favorite) 25 Films and Albums of 2022. Films are based off US non-festival release date/if I decided to include them.
I have yet to see several movies from the last year. In fact I have a letterboxd list of over 200 2022 films I haven’t watched. So this is more of a where I stand at the end of 2022 video, but that is a bad title.
Film list and album list are created separately and then placed together. Half the fun is seeing what album will match with what movie. And it really is impossible to plan because late releasing movies will come along and shift the entire movie list. So instead I just let each list fall where it may and try my best to match a song from the album with the corresponding video clip I made.
My rankings are pretty subjective. I enjoyed everything I put in here and, depending on mood, could move so many of them up or down.
